Ingredients

  • 225 g sponge cake
  • 25 g butter
  • 30 g cream cheese
  • Marzipan (z.B. Lemke Marzipan Creamy White) 200 g

  • Candy eyes decoration
  • 1 small tube – dark icing gel

Instructions:

  • Crumble the sponge cake finely.
  • Mix it with the butter and cream cheese. Shape into walnut-sized balls and place them in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Knead the marzipan well, then roll it out as thin as possible on baking paper.
  • Cut out round shapes from the marzipan and place them over the cake balls.
  • Finally, decorate with candy eyes and icing gel.

Tipp:

Alternatively, you can cut the marzipan into strips and wrap them around like bandages to create a “mummy head.”
