2 cubes of yeast

500 ml milk

400 g Lemke Marzipan Simply Pure

4 eggs

2 teaspoons cinnamon powder

4000 g plums

100 g almond flakes

200 g almond flakes

200 g sugar

1 packet of vanilla sugar

150 ml cream

Here's how:

  • Crumble the yeast and dissolve it in lukewarm milk while stirring.
  • Mix flour, butter, salt, sugar, eggs and yeast milk in a bowl to form a smooth dough.
  • Then form the dough into a ball, cover it and let it rest in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  • In the meantime, mix the marzipan with the eggs and cinnamon to form a smooth cream.
  • After the resting period, knead the dough on a floured work surface and roll it out onto a greased baking tray.
  • Spread the marzipan mixture on the dough.
  • Place the halved and pitted plums close together on the dough with the inside facing up.
  • Sprinkle with almond flakes and put in the oven.

Preparation of topping

  • Lightly toast the almond slices in a pan over medium heat, add sugar and vanilla sugar.
  • When the sugar melts, remove the pan from the heat and pour in the cream while stirring.
  • Bring everything to the boil again over low heat.
