Hummus is a true classic, which has been modified in this recipe with almond butter and almond oil. Hummus is very healthy due to its protein content, its good complex carbohydrates and its many unsaturated fatty acids and should therefore be included in your diet on a regular basis.

Ingredients 500 g chickpeas (jar or can) chickpea water (Aqua Faber) juice of 1 organic lemon |
zest of 1 organic lemon 4 tablespoons almond butter 1 tablespoon almond oil |
1 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon paprika powder 2 teaspoons salt |
Here's how:
Place all ingredients in a tall container or blender.
Then puree the ingredients with a hand blender or in a mixer until you reach a nice creamy consistency.
Tip:
Hummus is much more than just a dip for raw vegetables and crackers, it can also be used as a spread for bread and wraps and as a base for a delicious pasta sauce.
