225 g sponge cake

25 g butter

30 g cream cheese

about 200 - 300 g marzipan (e.g. Lemke Marzipan Creamy White )

sugar eye decoration

1 small tube of dark sugar writing

Here's how:

  • Finely crumble the sponge cake. Mix with the butter and cream cheese.
  • Form into walnut-sized balls and place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Knead the marzipan thoroughly and then roll it out as thinly as possible on baking paper.
  • Cut out circular shapes from the marzipan and place them around the dough balls.
  • Finally, decorate with sugar eyes and sugar writing.

Tip:

Alternatively, you can cut the marzipan into strips and then place them around the "mummy's head" as bandages.
