Ingredients 225 g sponge cake 25 g butter 30 g cream cheese |
about 200 - 300 g marzipan (e.g. Lemke Marzipan Creamy White ) |
sugar eye decoration 1 small tube of dark sugar writing |
Here's how:
- Finely crumble the sponge cake. Mix with the butter and cream cheese.
- Form into walnut-sized balls and place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Knead the marzipan thoroughly and then roll it out as thinly as possible on baking paper.
- Cut out circular shapes from the marzipan and place them around the dough balls.
- Finally, decorate with sugar eyes and sugar writing.
Tip:
Alternatively, you can cut the marzipan into strips and then place them around the "mummy's head" as bandages.
