Simply
Ingredients
150 g butter
150 g sugar
2 eggs
200 g flour
100 g almond protein (alternatively almond flour)
4 g vanilla sugar
8 g baking powder
4 tablespoons applesauce
Milk
Here's how:
Mix butter, sugar and eggs together in a large bowl.
Add flour, almond protein (or almond flour), vanilla sugar and baking powder and mix together again.
Add the apple sauce and enough milk so that the dough has a nice smooth consistency after mixing.
Grease the cake tin and sprinkle with semolina.
Pour the dough into the cake tin and bake in the preheated oven at 170 degrees top/bottom heat for about 40 minutes.
Then let it cool down a little and then remove it from the mold.
Now you can either enjoy the cake plain or decorate it with powdered sugar or chocolate icing and sprinkles as you wish.
Tip:
To know whether the cake has been baked long enough (this can vary greatly between ovens), it is best to do the toothpick test. To do this, push a wooden toothpick or something similar into the dough and then pull it out again. If some dough is stuck to the wooden toothpick, it needs to bake a little longer.
