1000 g strawberries (washed and cleaned)

200 g marzipan raw material (e.g. Lemke Simply Pure )

500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Here's how:

Place the marzipan in the freezer for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, wash and clean the strawberries. Put the strawberries in a pan and add the gelling sugar.

Grate the marzipan. You can also tear it into small pieces, but it will take longer. Add the marzipan to the strawberry-sugar mixture and mix everything well. Put it on the stove. Bring to the boil and then continue to cook at a gentle simmer for about 4 minutes at a reduced heat.

Puree the jam once and then quickly fill it into clean jars and seal them tightly. Turn the jars upside down briefly so that the lid is also sterile and then leave to cool down.

The strawberry marzipan jam has a great pink color and its fine marzipan note makes it an absolute highlight on the breakfast table.
