almond butter crunchy

1 ripe banana

chocolate or couverture

topping

chewy almonds


Here's how:

Cut the banana into slices and freeze for at least 30 minutes (depending on your freezing options, it may be better to freeze a little longer). In the meantime, chop the almonds and melt the chocolate in a water bath. Then place half of the banana slices on a plate, put a dollop of almond butter on top and place the other banana slices on top. Stick a toothpick in and dip it in the melted chocolate. Then top immediately with the almond pieces, as the frozen bananas will cool the chocolate quickly. Eat immediately or put it back in the fridge.
